DISCSINVISIBLE was LA LEY's fourth studio release and their second best-selling album. The album was released in 1995. It was also the album that catapulted the band into Rock superstardom throughout Latin America. It also reunited LA LEY with original member Rodrigo Aboitiz and invited new band member Pedro Furgone, after the untimely death of founder Andrés Bobe. INVISIBLE was also La Ley's first album to have a song completely in French ("Deuxième Fois"). The album contains the number one hits "El Duelo", "Día Cero", and "Cielo Market" and to this day remains a favorite collection among the many diehard, loyal LA LEY fans.

This was their first album not produced by Ross Robinson. Instead, it was produced by Steve Thompson and Toby Wright. The album peaked at #1 on four charts, including the Billboard 200. Follow the Leader is considered to be the band's most commercially-successful album, being certified five-times Platinum by the RIAA. Animals is a concept album, focusing on the social-political conditions of mid-1970s Britain, and was a change from the style of the band's earlier work. The album was developed from a collection of unrelated songs into a concept which describes the apparent social and moral decay of society, likening the human condition to that of animals. Taking inspiration from George Orwell's Animal Farm, the album depicts the different classes of people as animals with pigs being at the top of the social chain, dropping down to the sheep as the mindless herd following what they are told, with dogs as the business bosses getting fat on the money and power they hold over the other. Although it's been a long time since 1977, the narrative of the album still resonates today as our social and economic situation mirrors that of the time.

Matahari is the debut album of French band l'Impératrice whose second album Tako Tsubo is being released in March 2021 "Impératrice" is French for "Empress", and if their name is a difficult thing to grasp for anglophones, musically there's nothing that doesn't translate. Drawing from a range of genres, from 70s space disco to downtempo 90s synth pop, taking in French film composers like François de Roubaix and Michel Legrand along the way, the 5 Parisians have become a cornerstone of the reinvigorated French pop-music scene. Matahari is a glittering, cinematic summation of six years hard work that draws on some of the finest found sounds and forgotten sonic fandangos hiding in crates across the land, all given L'Impératrice's own inimitable 21st century twist.
While the goth scene in England was picking up commercial steam in the mid-'80s, The Sisters of Mercy may have seemed quiet, but they roared back with 1987's 'Floodland'. Opening with the driving two-part hymn 'Dominion/Mother Russia', Sisters leader Andrew Eldritch (along with bassist Patricia Morrison) creates a black soundscape that is majestic and vast. While the earlier Sisters releases were noisy, sometimes harsh affairs, 'Floodland' is filled with lush production (thanks to Meat Loaf writer/producer Jim Steinman and the New York Choral Society) and lyric imagery that is both scary and glorious. The slower tracks, like 'Flood' and '1959', are some of the best ethereal sounds goth has to offer, and the downright regal 'This Corrosion' is one of the best songs of the genre.
